Who we are

ArHa, Inc. ("Dino Loan," "we" or "us") runs dinoloan.com, a free service that shares loan requests with lenders and lending partners so one of them can offer a loan. Dino Loan is not a lender.

What this policy covers

This policy covers dinoloan.com, the Dino Loan application and the emails and texts we send. It does not cover the sites or practices of lenders and partners, which have their own privacy policies.

When you submit a request, you agree that we can collect, use and share your information as this policy describes.

Information you give us

When you fill in the application, we ask for the details below. We also keep what you tell us when you contact support. We never ask for your online banking password, your PIN or a one time code.

  • Your request: the amount you need and what it is for.
  • Income: whether you have a checking account, your employment status, how and how often you are paid, your net monthly pay and your next pay date.
  • Contact and identity: your name, date of birth, mobile number, email address and work phone.
  • Home: your home address, how long you have lived there and whether you rent or own.
  • Bank: your bank name, routing number, checking account number and how long you have had the account.
  • Other details: your total unsecured debt range, your Social Security number, your driver's license or state ID number and issuing state, and whether you are on active duty in the military, or the spouse or dependent of someone who is.
  • Your choices: the consents you give, and when you gave them.

Information collected automatically

When you visit dinoloan.com, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security. They include your IP address, your browser, the pages you visit and the time of your visit.

Today the site uses no analytics or advertising cookies or pixels, only what it needs to work, and the application does not store your answers in your browser. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update our Cookie Policy first and offer you a choice.

Information from other sources

We may also get information about you from:

  • Lenders and lending partners, for example whether they accepted your request.
  • Identity verification and fraud prevention services.
  • Advertising and marketing partners that referred you to us.

How we use your information

We use your information:

  • To take your request and share it with lenders and lending partners so one of them can offer you a loan.
  • To show you your match and send you to the lender's site if you choose.
  • To verify your identity and to detect and prevent fraud.
  • To contact you about your request.
  • To send you marketing messages, only if you agreed.
  • To answer your questions and give support.
  • To keep records of your consents and choices.
  • To run, secure and improve Dino Loan.
  • To follow the law, respond to legal requests and enforce our terms.

Credit reports

Dino Loan does not check your credit and does not obtain consumer reports about you. The credit report authorization on the application lets lenders in our network obtain consumer report information about you, from a major credit bureau or a specialty bureau that serves short term lenders, to review your request.

Lenders and lending partners

When you submit a request, we share the information in it with one or more lenders and lending partners in our network so they can decide whether to offer you a loan. A lending partner is a company that is not itself a lender but works with lenders, such as another loan matching service.

We may offer your request to partners one after another, in an order that can depend on what they pay us, until one accepts it. A partner that receives your request may keep and use your information under its own privacy policy, even if it does not make you an offer. Today we work with one lender partner, a licensed lender in California.

We use your state and the amount you ask for to choose which lenders can review your request. We do not work with any lending partners today.

Marketing partners

Dino Loan does not share your information with marketing partners today. The optional marketing consent on the application covers messages from Dino Loan only. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Service providers

We share information with companies that help us run Dino Loan, such as hosting, data storage, email and text delivery, customer support, identity verification, fraud prevention and security providers. They may use it only to provide services to us.

We may disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to a subpoena, court order or regulator, to protect the rights, property or safety of you, Dino Loan or others, to prevent fraud, and to enforce our Terms of Use.

If Dino Loan is part of a merger, sale or similar change, your information may be transferred as part of it, and this policy will still apply to it.

Sale and sharing under California law

Lenders and lending partners pay us for the requests we send them. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, sharing your request with a lender that may pay us may be a sale of your personal information.

California residents can ask us not to sell or share their personal information. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Because matching needs that sharing, after you opt out we cannot send new requests from you to lenders.

Financial privacy laws

Some information you give us may also be covered by the federal Gramm Leach Bliley Act and the California Financial Information Privacy Act. These laws can require a separate privacy notice and, in California, your consent before some information is shared.

We share your request with lenders only with the consent you give when you submit it. If these laws apply to your information, we follow them.

Text messages

We share your mobile number with the service providers that deliver our texts, and lenders that review your request receive it as part of your request. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing.

Marketing texts and emails

Marketing messages are optional. We send them only if you agreed on the application. You can stop them at any time: reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or contact us. See Unsubscribe.

We process an email unsubscribe within 10 business days. We honor a STOP reply to a text right away, and always within 10 business days. We may still send you messages about a request you already submitted. Messages from a lender come from that lender, so contact it directly to stop them.

Cookies and privacy signals

Our Cookie Policy explains the tools this site uses. There is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, so we do not respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control, as described on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

How we protect it

Your information travels over encrypted connections (TLS) to us and to lenders. Sensitive numbers, such as your Social Security, bank account and ID numbers, are encrypted when we store them, and only staff who need your information can see it. On the application, sensitive numbers are hidden on screen unless you choose to show them, your answers stay in the page's memory instead of browser storage, and sensitive numbers are cleared from the form when you finish or leave.

No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that your information will never be accessed without permission.

How long we keep it

We keep your request and the records of your consents for up to five years, for legal and record keeping duties. Then we delete them or make them anonymous. We delete Social Security, bank account and ID numbers from Dino Loan's systems within 90 days after your request is sent to a lender. We keep other personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy.

Children

Dino Loan is for adults. You must be 18 or older to submit a request, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you can:

  • Stop marketing messages at any time. See Unsubscribe.
  • Ask to see, correct or delete your information, where the law gives you that right.
  • Ask us not to sell or share your information. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
  • Use the added rights California residents have. Read our CCPA Notice.
  • Use the rights your own state's privacy law gives you, if you live in a state that has one. Email us at support@dinoloan.com and we will honor them.

Other websites

Our site links to lenders' sites and other sites we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we post the new version here with a new date at the top. If the law requires your consent to a change, we ask for it.
